During the beginning of the pandemic, I created, launched, and curated the Artists Give Love Project and Exhibition with six other incredibly talented and caring artists. The goal of the project was to give artists something meaningful to do during an extremely stressful time and to help give hope and love to our community as well. We each created paintings that reflected a positive word/message we wanted to share with the world. Such as "Give Love", "Give Thanks", "Give Kindness", "Give Hope", and more. It was a great way to help cope with what was happening and it was our way to remind our community that good still exists. Once all of our paintings were completed, we created videos, that we shared on social media, encouraging others to join our movement. We called the challenge we set forth the Paintbrush Challenge. We also held an exhibit at the Farr Best Theater in Mansfield Texas that Summer. We were also featured in an online article that was circulated throughout the state of Texas and beyond. ArtNewsDFW  You can also view the video we created here Artists Give Love Video.

In 2019 I was riding a wave of success with my artwork. I had won several awards that year, including first place in the State Fair Of Texas, and even had a full news spread about me in a local newspaper. Cleburne Times Review

February 2019, I was featured as Artist Of The Month with Mansfield Commission For The Arts. I was interviewed and given a spotlight on their Facebook page. Artist Of The Month Interview

In 2008, I submitted my artwork into Hallmark's Christmas Card Contest and became a finalist. My card design was sold online and in stores across America. My Winning Hallmark Card Design  Around this time, I was also featured in the Burleson Star newspaper. They are no longer in business. I don't have a link to share for the article, but do have a physical copy available to see upon request.
