Hello, my name is Misty "Blue" Lemons. I'm an award winning artist from Texas.
I've been creating art for as long as I can remember. From the moment I could hold a crayon to now! When I create something, it's like creating my very own world! A world full of beautiful colors, joy, whimsy, and absolute freedom and peace! Knowing that I touch hearts and lives with my work is so rewarding!
My mediums of choice are acrylic painting, digital illustration, and photography. I have recently started dabbling in watercolor.
Acrylic paint is so versatile and so I've painted on rocks, rainbarrels, canvas, wood, and more. I find painting on challenging objects exhilirating!
It's my experience that each medium I work with is complimentary to each other. Every thing I've learned about one medium helps me work with the other mediums. For example, editing photos has made me a better digital artist by knowing the ins and outs of photo editing software.
